Test Summary
CEA is a tumor marker that is useful to monitor patients with persistent, or for recurrent or metastatic colonic carcinoma. As many as 30% of patients with breast, lung, hepatocellular, and pancreatic carcinoma also have elevated concentrations of CEA.
