Preferred Specimen
4 ml serum Gold top. Do not pour off.
Minimum Volume
1 ml serum
Instructions
Invert gold top tube at least 8 times. Allow to clot in an upright position for approximately 30 minutes. Centrifuge tube approximately 10 minutes. Ensure gel has moved to center of specimen. Keep tightly stoppered. Place barcode label on gold top tube. Place the gold top tube in the collection kit. Do NOT freeze the gold top tube.

Refrigerate prior to shipment. Ship frozen with 2 gel packs provided by Octave. Do NOT freeze gold top tube.
