CBC & DIFF = 3 mL or 4 mL whole blood K2EDTA (lavender top) tube(s) or K2EDTA (Microtainer® lavender top) tube(s). (minimum fill 1 mL(Microtainer® filled between the 2 lines)).
ABO and RH, Antibody Screen = 1 full large (6 mL) K2EDTA (lavender top) or two full (3 mL) K2EDTA (lavender top) tube(s).

Instructions
SST or Red top = Avoid hemolysis. Invert a minimum of 5 times, then allow to clot in an upright position for 30 minutes. Centrifuge the tube for at least 10 minutes. Keep tightly stoppered.
K2EDTA = Avoid hemolysis. Gently invert 10 times.
