Hepatitis Acute Panel (AMA)
Test Summary
Hepatitis may caused by several viruses. The three most common causes are Hepatitis A, B, and C. Since symptoms for the various types of hepatitis are all the same, serology testing is useful in determining the etiologic agent of disease. This panel detects antigens or antibodies to the major causes of viral hepatitis.
