Test Summary

Hepatitis B Core Total Antibody is detected in individuals that have been or are currently infected with the Hepatitis B Virus. This assay does not distinguish between IgG and IgM. Separate testing for Hepatitis B Core IgM will help distinguish between a current/recent infection or past infection.
