5 mL amniotic fluid collected in a sterile container, or
5 mg chorionic villus sample collected in culture media

3-5 mL whole blood or 1-3 mL bone marrow collected in sodium heparin tube, 5 mL Amniotic fluid collected in sterile container, 5 mg CVS in culture media, 5X5 mm Fresh tissue in sterile container, formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue.

Specimen viability decreases during transit. Send specimen to testing lab for viability determination. Do not freeze. Do not reject.
